Brent Clark, Consultant

Brent Clark

Consultant

Brent brings 30 years’ experience in the landscape industry. He has vast knowledge in installation techniques and brings a perspective from boots on the ground to upper management. He has a heart for volunteering with youth as Chair of the Board for his local center for troubled youth. He has promoted and spoke to cities and communities a like about the integration of horticulture into the urban infrastructure, focusing on community wellbeing and implementation into urban areas including but not limited to green walls, alleyway revitalization and community gardens. GreenBlue Urban was a natural step in his long career in Landscape.

Carla Young, Finance Coordinator

Carla Young

Finance Coordinator

After immigrating from the UK, Carla joined GreenBlue Urban Canada in 2022, as Finance Coordinator. She brings extensive financial experience from her time working in the social and community housing profession. Carla has a BSc (Hons) from Manchester Metropolitan University in Animal Behavior and Conservation which focused on how animals interact with each other and the environment, and learn how to conserve species and their habitats. GreenBlue has a passion for all areas of conservation and urban conservation which makes her a great fit with the team.

Craig is the founding member of the North American operation, which was established in 2005, currently works with the Sales Team from our North American office, where they are building lasting and meaningful business relationships with current and new clients. Craig also supports with site visits, sharing his extensive knowledge for the best and most effective practices for the installation of GreenBlue Urban products.

Dean Bowie

Dean Bowie

CEO

Dean founded GreenBlue Urban Limited as Greenleaf in 1992. He is passionate about urban trees being given the best possible resources and environment in which to thrive and travels the globe propagating his enthusiasm to governments and local authorities.

More recently, Dean has developed his expertise to integrate Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDs) technology with optimum Urban Tree Pit design, championing the movement into storm water management utilising urban trees.

Frank Giesbrecht

Operations Manager

Frank is responsible for sourcing and setting up cost effective and stock efficient supply agreements for the North American operation, ensuring the highest level of quality in all our products. He builds strong relationships with our partner suppliers and contract manufacturers. Frank has a keen eye for improving quality and reducing costs in our manufacturing processes.

Liam Fischer, Technical Designer & Business Development Support

Technical Design

Liam has been part of the GreenBlue Urban Team since September 2022. Liam brings eight years of landscaping experience and formal education in Environmental Design and Planning to his role in Technical Design & Business Development Support. He often collaborates with colleagues and clients to ensure proper design standards are met, ensuring that each project is precise and contributes to a green environmental standard.

Roy Bowie

Roy Bowie

Managing Director

Roy gained his product knowledge in the warehouse when he first started at GreenBlue Urban, working his way into the estimating role, before becoming an Account Manager and is now the Managing Director.

Roy directs and controls the company’s operations giving strategic guidance and direction to the team to ensure GreenBlue Urban achieves its missions and objectives.
