Aimee Young

Customer Service Administrator

Aimee brings over eight years of experience in the customer service industry and thrives in fast-paced, team-oriented environments. She takes pride in delivering outstanding service and enjoys building strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike. Her approachable, positive attitude makes her a valued member of the GreenBlue Urban team.

Arran Bowie

Operations Support

Arran joined the team in 2017, starting in Product Development, before moving into Operations. He now leads the Project Support and Aftersales department, working closely with both customers and installers, often visiting sites across the country to provide hands-on support. In addition, he heads up the Procurement department, focusing on quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction from start to finish.

Ben Anderson

Business Development and Technical Lead

Ben joined GreenBlue Urban in July 2021, bringing extensive experience from his years in the construction industry. He thrives on building strong relationships across the disciplines involved in urban development and provides detailed technical advice and support on a wide range of projects across the UK. Ben also ensures regular communication with customers, helping guide each project smoothly from concept through to implementation.

Dale Bowie

Head of Sales

Dale has progressed from roles in the warehouse and customer service teams to become Head of Sales. His hands-on experience has given him in-depth product knowledge and a strong understanding of customer needs. After leading the Estimating department and working closely with the Sales team, Dale moved into account management, supporting customers across the north with key projects. Now, as Head of Sales, he leads a dedicated team focused on delivering tailored solutions and excellent service to customers nationwide.

Dean Bowie

CEO

Dean founded GreenBlue Urban, formerly Greenleaf, in 1992 and has been a passionate advocate for healthy urban trees ever since. He travels extensively, working with governments, local authorities and industry professionals to promote best practices in urban tree planting and long-term tree health. Dean has also led the integration of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDS) technology with tree planting, driving innovation in stormwater management through urban forestry.

Hannah Cook

Marketing Executive

Hannah specialises in planning and delivering successful events across the UK, showcasing GreenBlue Urban’s commitment to innovation in green and blue infrastructure. With a strong focus on building lasting relationships across the industry, she plays a key role in connecting the company with businesses, customers, and stakeholders. Hannah’s work helps position GreenBlue Urban as a trusted, go-to source for sustainable urban solutions, reinforcing the brand’s presence and reputation within the sector.

Howard Gray

Business Relationship Specialist

Howard is a passionate advocate for urban trees, having planted his first tree nearly 45 years ago. With a deep understanding of the competing demands on space within our towns and cities, he works closely with a wide range of stakeholders to give every tree the best possible chance to reach its full potential. As a dedicated ambassador for GreenBlue Urban, Howard actively promotes best-practice green infrastructure solutions, delivering presentations and sharing expertise across disciplines in countries around the world.

Imogene Green

Social Media & Design Executive

Imogene joined GreenBlue Urban in late 2021, motivated by the opportunity to contribute to meaningful environmental initiatives. Initially part of the Business Development team, she later transitioned into Marketing, where she now manages the creation and curation of content across GreenBlue Urban’s social media platforms. Known for her positive energy and collaborative spirit, she plays an important role in both the success of the marketing team and the wider company culture.

James Dalrymple

Business Relationship Specialist

James has been a key member of the GreenBlue Urban team since the late 1990s. As a Director, he has contributed to the evolution of successful urban tree planting technologies and is passionate about increasing tree canopy cover in our towns and cities. A strong advocate for integrating green infrastructure within Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), James works on a wide range of projects across the UK and internationally, advising on best practices to ensure urban trees reach maturity and deliver long-term environmental benefits.

Judy Bishop-Lund

Business Development Executive

Judy brings over 25 years of B2B sales and marketing experience to GreenBlue Urban. Passionate about the environment, she plays a key role in supporting the sales team and driving awareness of the long-term benefits of green infrastructure. Judy works closely with architects, landscape professionals, civil engineers, local authorities and contractors to promote best practices in urban tree planting. Her work helps ensure GreenBlue’s solutions are understood and adopted across the industry.

Karlos Woodcock

Project Consultant

Karlos brings 13 years of experience in the construction industry and works closely with GreenBlue Urban’s key customers to build strong, lasting relationships. He thrives in the team’s high-energy, collaborative environment and is committed to delivering projects that reflect a shared dedication to quality, innovation, and sustainability. Karlos plays a vital role in helping shape a greener, more resilient urban future.

Keith Randelhoff

Compliance and Quality Officer

Keith joined GreenBlue Urban in January 2021 and plays a key role in manufacturing and managing stock produced on site. With over 40 years of experience in warehousing, quality control, and supply chain management, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. When needed, Keith also supports operations as a forklift operator and picker, helping ensure efficiency during busy periods. His extensive background and adaptability make him a valuable asset to the production team.

Kerenza Bance

Business Development Assistant

Kerenza has been part of the GreenBlue Urban team since 2021, playing a key part in organising and coordinating CPD presentations. She also works closely with the Marketing team to ensure the smooth delivery of both internal and external events. In addition, Kerenza manages the implementation of new case studies, ensuring successful projects are documented and shared to highlight real-world impact. Her attention to detail and proactive approach make her a valuable contributor to the team’s continued success.

Kinglsey Bance

Internal Sales Executive

Kingsley joined GreenBlue Urban at the end of 2022, initially working in the warehouse before progressing through estimating and into the Sales team. Along the way, he developed strong product knowledge and a deep understanding of project needs. Kingsley enjoys working closely with customers, ensuring they have the right support and resources to secure projects and see them through to successful completion on site. He is passionate about GreenBlue Urban’s mission to create healthier urban spaces that work in harmony with nature.

Lloyd Mumford

Product Development Manager

Lloyd leads the Product Development process at GreenBlue Urban, overseeing the journey from initial concept through to testing and final delivery to market. With a strong passion for innovation, he thrives on developing new and varied solutions that align with the company’s mission to be the global leader in tree pit systems. Lloyd’s enthusiasm for advancing product design and technology plays a vital role in driving forward-thinking, sustainable solutions within the blue and green infrastructure sector.

Marcella Polinski

Customer Service Team Leader

Marcella is an experienced Customer Service Coordinator with a strong background in wholesale. At GreenBlue Urban, she plays a vital role in managing customer enquiries and ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Often the first point of contact for customers calling the company, Marcella provides a friendly and professional service that reflects the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction. She enjoys supporting both customers and colleagues to help the business run smoothly.

Martin Johnson

Warehouse Operative

Martin joined GreenBlue Urban in 2019, bringing over 25 years of warehousing experience along with a strong background in health and safety auditing. His primary responsibilities include picking, packing and dispatching daily sales orders, as well as managing the loading and unloading of vehicles arriving at the yard. Martin’s attention to detail and commitment to maintaining an organised workspace make him an invaluable member of the operations team.

Martin Murray

Head of Operations

Martin brings extensive experience in transport, manufacturing, and distribution, having worked with some of the largest third-party logistics providers. This background gives him a solid understanding of the challenges involved in maintaining high operational standards. He holds a Transport Manager’s International CPC as well as IOSH certification. In his current role, Martin oversees the operational side of the business, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and in full compliance with regulations.

Oliver Palmer

Operations Assistant

Ollie joined GreenBlue Urban in mid-2018 as a Warehouse Operative and has since progressed into a hybrid office-warehouse role as Operations Assistant. In this role, Ollie coordinates direct haulage logistics from our site to customer locations, ensuring timely deliveries. He also oversees stock control within the warehouse, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and plays a key role in managing and updating the company’s ERP system to support smooth operational workflows.

 

Paul Bowie

Business Support Manager

Paul plays a hands-on role in supporting IT and telecoms infrastructure at GreenBlue Urban, while also working closely with contractors on-site across the UK. He provides practical advice and guidance on best practices for installing and using GreenBlue’s tree planting systems, ensuring every project is set up for long-term success. Passionate about seeing the results in action, he also documents thriving trees in tree pits, capturing the impact of sustainable urban design through photography.

Paul Picknell

Warehouse Operative

Paul is a key member of the GreenBlue Urban warehouse team, supporting the day-to-day operations with a strong focus on efficiency and attention to detail. As a Warehouse Operative, he is involved in picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch, helping ensure customers receive their products on time and to a high standard. Paul’s reliability and teamwork make him a valuable part of the operations team, contributing to the smooth running of our on-site logistics.

Rhys Pullen

Assistant Estimator

Rhys brings a strong background in customer service, with a clear understanding of client needs and a passion for delivering high-quality support. His approachable nature make him a key point of contact for customers and colleagues alike with any estimating queries. With a blend of practical experience and strong communication skills, Rhys is a valuable addition to the team, contributing to our mission of providing outstanding service and expertise across every stage of a project.

Roy Bowie

Managing Director

Roy developed his product knowledge while working in the warehouse at GreenBlue Urban, before progressing into Estimating and then Sales. This broad experience has given him a strong understanding of the company’s products and customer needs. Now as Managing Director, Roy leads the UK, Export, and North American teams, driving strategic growth and fostering innovation. He continually challenges the status quo to ensure GreenBlue Urban remains a leader in the industry and expands its global presence.

 

Shane Frost

Head of Sales

With over 20 years of experience across all areas of the business, Shane now leads the Sales, Estimating, and Technical teams, focusing on delivering exceptional customer experience and technical excellence. Drawing on his passion and extensive expertise in managing the complexities of urban environments, Shane supports his team in identifying opportunities across a diverse range of challenging projects. His leadership ensures that projects enhance urban spaces while effectively addressing competing structural and engineering requirements.

Stuart Lynch

Estimator

Stuart brings extensive experience to his role as an Estimator, combining technical expertise with a deep understanding of client requirements. Known for his attention to detail and clear communication, he is a key point of contact for estimating queries and project support. Stuart’s practical knowledge and dedication to delivering high standards make him an integral part of the team, ensuring accurate, efficient, and customer-focused solutions across every stage of a project.

Tamara Witriw

Tamara Witriw

Tamara is a Chartered Accountant with a degree in Business Administration and over 15 years of experience in finance leadership roles across multiple industries and regions worldwide. Beginning her career at PwC, she has worked with both multinational corporations and SMEs. Tamara has a comprehensive understanding of business drivers and a proven track record of delivering insightful financial management information. Her expertise supports strategic decision-making aimed at driving sustainable business growth.

Zoe Kilbey

Finance Coordinator

Zoe has been a dedicated member of the GreenBlue Urban team for over 15 years, playing a key role in supporting the company’s ongoing growth. With a deep understanding of financial processes, she is responsible for managing both the sales and purchase ledgers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in day-to-day transactions. In addition to her accounting duties, Zoe oversees the credit control function, maintaining strong relationships with customers while ensuring timely payments and financial compliance.
