Aimee Young

Customer Service Administrator

Aimee joined the team looking for a new challenge. With 8+ years’ experience in the customer service industry she enjoys speaking to customers and working in a busy team environment.

Alice Cowlen

Customer Service Administrator

Alice has worked in client-facing roles within the Investment Industry in London for over 16 years, before joining the Customer Services Team here at GreenBlue. She is friendly, and approachable and her aim is to give the best service to everybody she has contact with. Alice loves a new challenge and has 3 young sons, that keep her on her toes!

Alison Johnson

Technical Co-Ordinator

Alison has worked in the Construction Industry for over 20 years in tender analysis and reporting. During this time she raised two competent and confident young men, whilst gaining experience in Quantity Surveying and Cost Control in new build housing, property and project management, and the Nuclear industry.
Alison enjoys garden design, and is currently completing her CITB course in project controls and horticulture.

Arran Bowie

Operations Support

Arran joined the team in 2017 with starting off in Product Development assisting with the R&D of new products before moving into Operations where he coordinated and processed project soil requirements. Arran now heads up the project support and aftersales department also supporting the Operations team in the design and manufacture of bespoke products to fulfil complete customer satisfaction. This can involve site visits throughout the country to provide both customers and installers support with any challenges which may occur through to bespoke installations.

Christopher Gower

Multimedia Designer

Chris has a passion for design, animation and video and this is very much reflected in the material he creates as part of our Marketing team.

Chris’ creations include our technical resources, product data sheets and industry publications including Edition 9 to name but a few. Why not take a further look around our website to see just a small sample of Chris’ amazing work!

Dale Bowie

Key Account Manager

Dale has been with GreenBlue Urban for several years now working his way up through the warehouse and customer service departments where he gained valuable product knowledge. He now manages the estimating department working closely with the sales department to ensure the customers receive the best possible advice, solutions and service. He enjoys liaising closely with customers to ensure successful tree planting projects for future generations.

Dean Bowie

CEO

Dean founded GreenBlue Urban Limited as Greenleaf in 1992. He is passionate about urban trees being given the best possible resources and environment in which to thrive and travels the globe propagating his enthusiasm to governments and local authorities.

More recently, Dean has developed his expertise to integrate Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDs) technology with optimum Urban Tree Pit design, championing the movement into storm water management utilising urban trees.

Hannah Cook

Marketing & Events Coordinator

Hannah holds the position of Marketing Assistant. Having worked in customer service in many differing trades, she thrives talking to customers and building relationships.

Hannah organises CPD’s with industry professionals, manages events across the UK and works with her team on web design, content and social posts on all GreenBlue platforms.

Howard Gray

Strategic Business Development

Howard is a passionate advocate for urban trees, having planted his first tree nearly 45 years ago. Understanding the many conflicting claims on the space in our towns and cities, he works across the many stakeholders to achieve the best possible chance for every tree to grow to its species potential. Enthusiastically promoting proven green infrastructure planting methodologies, presenting to a wide range of different disciplines in many countries globally, he views himself as an active ambassador for GreenBlue Urban.

Imogene Green

Business development executive

Imogene joined our thriving team in late 2021. She joined loving the fact she would be in a job that contributes to helping the environment. At the forefront of business development, Imogene enjoys speaking with the customers and gaining information on best practice tree planting schemes. Having Imogene join the team has been a huge addition for the office moral and her positivity is infectious.

James Dalrymple

Strategic Business Development

James has been part of the GreenBlue Urban team since the late 90’s.  As a director, he has been involved with the many advances in successful urban tree planting technology.  He shares the team’s passion for increasing our downtown tree canopy cover and promotes the effective use of Green Infrastructure within SuDS projects to reduce the volume of surface water entering our sewers.  He continues to work on a wide variety of projects both within the UK and overseas to advise on best practice ensuring trees in our city centres reach maturity.

Karlos Woodcock

Key Account Manager

With 9 years of experience in the construction industry, Karlos is passionate about building long-term relationships. Being approachable and accountable for managing his accounts from tender to order is his key focus. Karlos also assists on site visits, giving advice on the installation of GreenBlue Urban products.

Keith Randelhoff

Compliance and Quality Officer

Keith joined us in January 2021 and is primarily our manufacturer and controller of stock items we produce on site. If we’re exceptionally busy Keith doubles up as a forklift operator & picker. He comes from an extensive manufacturing background with over 40 years experience in Warehousing, Quality and Supply Chain Management.

Kelly Cook

Customer Service Administrator

Born and raised South Africa, I decided to make the move to the UK in 2022. I have worked in the customer service industry for the past 5 years and enjoy talking to customers and building relationships with them. I am friendly and approachable and love what I do for GreenBlue.

Kerenza Bance

Junior Data Assistant

Kerenza has been a part of the GreenBlue Urban Team since 2021. As role of Junior Data Assistant, she keeps the CRM database system relevant and up to date to support all departments. Also assisting marketing with the follow up after events and CPD’s.

Lloyd Mumford

Product Development Manager

Lloyd manages our Product Development process from idea generation through to testing and delivery to market.

Lloyd has a passion for the new and varied and loves being involved in the development of exciting products and technologies, which is just what we need to fulfil our company vision of being the best tree pit solution provider in the World!

Louise Page

Marketing Manager

Louise is Green Blue’s Marketing Manager. She is principally responsible for increasing the GBU brand across several personas within the industry. She takes pride in the high-quality products, level of service and technical expertise offered. Above all, that creative innovation is assisting in the planting of long-lasting canopy trees for the benefit of all that live, work and play in the urban environment.

Marcella Polinski

Customer Service Coordinator

Marcella is an experienced customer service coordinator, having previously worked in a wholesale environment (books/entertainment products).

Her main role within the company is to manage customer enquiries and process orders in a timely and efficient manner. Marcella frequently answers the phone so could be the first person you speak to when calling GreenBlue Urban. She is enjoying working within a new industry and for the challenges her role brings.

Martin Johnson

Warehouse Operative

Martin joined GreenBlue in 2019 with 25+ years of warehousing experience under his belt, as well as a background in health and safety auditing. Martin’s primary role is the picking, packing, and dispatching of our day-to-day sales, as well as loading and unloading the many vehicles arriving in our yard, all while keeping the place tidy – this all makes him an incredibly valuable asset to the operations team.

Martin Murray

Operations Manager

Martin has many years’ experience in transport, manufacturing and distribution. He has worked for some of the largest 3pl providers giving him a solid understanding of the challenges maintaining high expectations.

Martin holds a Transport Managers international CPC as well as IOSH. Martin oversees the operational side of the business ensuring our activities are undertaken in a safe and compliant manner.

Oliver Palmer

Warehouse Operative

Ollie joined GreenBlue in the middle of 2018 as a warehouse operative and has since worked his way into a more office-warehouse split position under the title of Operations Assistant (as of 2022). His day to day roles include the arrangement of direct haulage from our site to the customer’s site, ensuring delivery deadlines are met, overseeing the stock control of the warehouse, as well as keeping on top of our ERP system.

 

Paul Bowie

CIO Director

Primarily responsible for managing IT and Telecoms for the company, Paul also carries out site visits for tree planting projects, advising contractors on best practice and methodology for utilising GreenBlue Urban tree planting systems, and documenting the process for Case Study purposes.

 

Roy Bowie

Managing Director

Roy gained his product knowledge in the warehouse before moving into the Estimating then on to Sales at GreenBlue Urban.

Roy is now the Managing Director where his main roles are to facilitate the UK, Export and North American teams, enhancing the companies growth and continually challenging the status quo.

 

Samantha Lansbury

Estimator

Sam has worked across several different industries as a designer and has been dedicated to sustainable smart solutions throughout. With years of experience in Landscape Design and estimation, she brings her passion and enthusiasm for horticulture to her work. Out of work, she produces a bountiful allotment, a beautiful garden, and in her spare time, renovates houses.

Shane Frost

Head of Sales

Shane Frost is passionate about improving urban environments sustainably for future generations, primarily through best practice tree planting methods. Shane’s role as Head of Business Development at GreenBlue Urban means he is actively and creatively engaged in cross discipline design teams on projects globally which hold conflicting structural, drainage and urban greening challenges.

Zoe Kilbey

Finance Coordinator

Zoe has been a loyal member of the GreenBlue Urban team for twelve years supporting the continued growth of the business. She handles both the company sales and purchase ledgers as well as our credit control function.
