This ambitious development project in Cabra, a well-established suburb in the heart of Dublin, encompasses a total of 485 new homes and a sprawling 25,000-square-foot retail supermarket. At its core, this development is designed to harmoniously coexist with a lush parkland that features new public and shared residential garden spaces. In a nod to the locality’s rich heritage, these green spaces draw inspiration from the renowned local mathematician, Sir Rowan Hamilton, the brilliant mind behind quaternions and the author of Hamilton’s Principle.

Spanning over half a kilometer in length, the site boasts a unique layout, with its eastern boundary adjacent to a section of railway. The main entrance is graced by a carefully planned avenue of trees, planted in GreenBlue’s RootSpace soil cell system, providing an area of uncompacted soil for the trees to thrive and deal with lateral loading from passing highway traffic.

Furthermore, a commitment to greenery and sustainability is evident throughout the development. Around the public garden square and within the soft landscaping, other tree-planting products such as the RootRain Urban, for tree watering, were also supplied.
