This case study showcases the impressive new headquarters for Ent Credit Union in Colorado Springs, CO. Commencing in early 2019, the construction project included a state-of-the-art five-story main building and an adjacent four-story parking garage.
Strategically located in one of the city’s thriving business hubs near InterQuest Parkway and Interstate 25, the headquarters was meticulously designed to not only meet the company’s functional needs, but also to serve as a magnet for attracting and retaining top-tier talent.
A pivotal aspect of the construction plan revolved around significant site infrastructure development. A designated area was allocated to offer employees and visitors a serene outdoor retreat, where they can relax and appreciate the breathtaking Colorado vistas. The addition of eight thoughtfully selected trees not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also provides essential shade and improves air quality. The positive impact of these trees is particularly noteworthy in a bustling urban setting like ENT’s expansive headquarters.
GreenBlue Urban’s RootSpace® ArborSystem® was selected because our load-bearing soil cells create structurally adequate soil systems conducive to long-term tree growth. The RootSpace pavement support system prevents soil compaction from foot traffic, in addition to helping manage stormwater runoff.
