ANZAC National War Memorial

Pukeahu National War Memorial Park officially opened on April 18, 2015. The opening ceremony was attended by thousands of people with thousands more visiting the memorial park during the day. This park is of huge national significance to both New Zealand and Australia, and was designed and built in time for the 100 year commemorations of ANZAC Day 2015, which marked the 100th year since the Allies (including Australian and New Zealand troops) landed in Gallipoli, Turkey during World War I.

A number of different species of trees were used in this project including native Pohutukawa & Kowhai, Australian Eucalyptus, and Olive Trees.

Our team's involvement in this project was extensive and our products were used in both the New Zealand and Australian sections of the park. The StrataCell system was used along with the RootRain irrigation & aeration system and ReRoot & RootStop root barriers. We are extremely pleased with the outcome of this project and wish to thank the Memorial Park Alliance and associated landscape architects, engineers, and contractors for their excellent cooperation.
