FutureBuild 2023 – We took a Stand!

Futurebuild 2023 opened its doors last week to all working within the built environment, striving for a sustainable future.

Thousands of attendees visited the event at Excel London, experiencing ground-breaking innovations, inspiring sponsored theatres, and interactive zones. Welcoming thought leaders, innovators, and disruptors who are all seeking to reach a shared goal of net zero.

“As the largest contributor of carbon emissions (almost 50% of the UK’s emissions), the built environment can make the biggest impact in achieving net zero. It is a huge challenge, and we have no time to waste. The future is in our hands, so we must act now and take a stand.” Futurebuild

A survey showed that 75% of visitors attend to discover new innovations; therefore our key product to showcase was the latest expansion of our product offering, The Reluminate, an off-grid lighting solution. The ReLuminate street light is one of the world’s most flexible, reliable and highly engineered off-grid lighting solutions. Designed to provide true zero-carbon lighting output for use in all exposed outdoor locations by drawing power from nature and removing the need for costly power infrastructure installations. ReLuminate is relied on by construction workers, developers and local authority lighting specialists to deliver the reliable lighting output they need, every time.

The Futurebuild 2023 show attracted attendees from the entire supply chain – architects, housebuilders, developers, consultants, contractors and manufacturers – to facilitate positive change – together. It is fantastic to build these collaborative relationships and achieve a built environment for all to work, live and play in our urban spaces.

Greenblue were thrilled to have been shortlisted for the Big Innovation Pitch, with our plug-and-play rain garden product, The Hydroplanter. A green and blue innovation being shortlisted within the sector was a huge game changer and a step towards the natural landscape duplicating to assist the challenges found in our grey infrastructure areas.

Futurebuild took a stand for a better-built environment and urged companies and professionals throughout the construction supply chain to make a similar commitment by ‘Taking a stand’ on an issue they passionately believe will help propel the industry towards a more sustainable future. Therefore, here at GreenBlue, we would like to Take a stand for honest marketing collateral and genuine UK-manufactured products with the official ‘Made in Britain’ certificate as evidence.

Thank you to all of you who attended our stand and spoke with our team – we’re absolutely thrilled that you took the time to understand our latest innovations, and most importantly take a stand together on our future collaborative projects.
